How many of you heard the name Mao zedong (Mao Tse-Tung)? He was a revolutionary leader who spread communism across china. He led the PRC(People's Repupblic of China) from 1949 till 1976, just like any other power hungry dictator he ruled till his death in 1976. His communist Policies are known as Maosim. He is a national Hero in China, you will find his picture printed on chinese yuan even till date.
Now the flipside, Did you know that Mao Zedong was the architect behind the largest genocide in the 20th century? He is known to have killed 49 to 78million people across china. That is more number of people butchered than Hitler and Stalin put together. Some through deliberate famine and many others through ruthless torture, from cutting of breasts and burning of genitals.
This very mass murdered is respected and is considered a national hero in china, This one reason is sufficient to prove that a communist china with a growing military budget is a threat to world peace.
Did you know that no two real democracies ever fought a war against each other.
Many say that democracy is not the best form of government but right now it is the most effective form.
Now, coming to maoists in India. This is their objective..
A communist India.
They want to achieve this through the barrel of a gun. Communism has always been a very violent ideology. The recent attacks by Naxals in chattisgarh where 75 CRPF Jawans and 1 police constable were ambushed and killed. In the month prior, Eastern Frontier Rifles lost 24 of its men to an Inhumane Naxal Attack.
This is war. Human Rights organizations can continue rambling, we live in a democracy and they have a right to voice their opinions. The government should use all options available to quash the naxal movement. The Naxals have absolutely no right to bear arms. A gun is no argument. The naxals claim that they are fighting for tribal welfare and the welfare of the disprivileged people. They should stand up for elections instead of standing up with their rifles. The 2009 Lok Sabha elections showed how political parties made deep in roads into communist strong holds in Kerala and West Bengal.
Communists have one way out, that is out of india. Communism does not belong in india. The last thing India needs is more Government control, which is the primary objective of Communism. They try and control the lives of every free individual, which violates our fundamental rights guaranteed to us under our constitution.
This is the absurdity of Socialism and communism, Socialism is mainly an economic system while communism is both an economic as well as a political system which tries to manage the economy as well as the society.
Ten essential Planks of communism:
1) Abolition of Private Property
2) A heavy Progressive Income Tax
3) Abolition of rights of Inheritance
4) Confisication of Property Rights
5) Central Bank; which is a monopoly
6) Government Ownership of Communication and Transportation
7) Government Ownership of Factories & Agriculture
8) Government Control of Labor
9) Corporate farms & Regional Planning
10) Government Control of Education
The government controls everything. From what you read to where you will live. Those 10 objectives speak loudly.
Let me tell you a story i got through an email.
(Some of the people mentioned below do not hold the same position they held, like koffi annan who is not the secretary general of the UN and lalu yadav who is no longer the indian railway minister and so on)
This is the story of an Ant and a grasshopper; The Ant works very hard in the withering heat all summer, building a house and stockpiling food for the winter. The lazy grasshopper thinks that the Ant is a fool and continues to fool around. The days turn into weeks and months and eventually the summers gone.
In the winter, the grasshopper is seen starving and shivering, the issue is publicized by the media. The shivering Grasshopper backed by the CPI and other left parties calls for a press conference and demands to know why the Ant is allowed to be warm and well fed while others are suffering in the cold and starving without any food.
NDTV, BBC, CNN and many other regional and national news agencies show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the Ant in his comfortable home with a table full of food.
Liberals, socialists, communists are stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be? they questioned. How is the poor Grasshopper allowed to suffer while the ant feasts.
Arundhati Roy stages a demonstration in front of the Ant's colonies and writes several articles critisizing fatcats( our hard working ants).
Medha Patgar goes on a fast along with other Grasshopper's demanding that grasshoppers be rolocated to warmer climates during winter.
Amnesty International and koffi Annan the Indian Government for not upholding the rights of the grasshopper.
The Internet is flooded with online petitions seeking support for the Grasshopper and condemning the Ants(many promising Heaven and everlasting Peace for promot support as against the wrath of god for non compliance).
Opposition MP's stage a walkout. Left Parties call for a Bengal bandh and a bandh in Kerala. There by, temporarily stopping many more hard working ants from working. The ruling communist Party in West Bengal, Kerala and tripura call for a judicial enquiry.
CPM in Kerala immediately passes a law preventing ants from working hard in the heat so as to bring about equality of poverty among ants and grasshoppers. They make more legislative changes to increase the taxes paid by hard working ants.
Lalu Yadav allocates one free coach to grasshoppers on all Indian Railway Trains, aptly named as the 'Grasshopper Rath'. Finally, the judicial Committee drafts the 'Prevention of terrorism against Grasshoppers Act(POTAGA), with effect from beginning of winter.
Arjun Singh makes 'special reservation' for grasshoppers in educational Institutions and in government Services whereby hardworking ants do not get admission into Educational Institutions and lose government jobs to Incompetent lazy grasshoppers. The Ant is fined for failing to comply with POTAGA and having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, its home is confiscated by the government and handed over to the grasshopper in a cermony covered by the NDTV.
Arundhati Roy calls it a "triumph of Justice"
Lalu Yadav calls it "socialistic Justice"
CPM calls is the " revolutionary Resurgence of the Downtrodden"
Koffi Annan invites the grasshopper to address the UN General Assembly
MANY YEARS LATER...
The Ant has migrated to America and set up a multi-billion dollar company. Millions of grasshoppers still starve & suffer despite reservations in india.
By feeding incompetent grasshoppers and by maknig other reservations for minorities on the pretext of equality we lost many hardworking ants.
This my friends is the communist agenda.
We are a democracy, with rights guaranteed to us by our constitution. The Indian constitution and communism are two parallel lines which will never meet. The desire to do good through force, what the naxals(backed by communists) are doing is not a good motive.
